Richard Creagh
After studying computer science at Munster Technological University, Richard relocated to Lowell, Massachusetts, to begin his professional career. Richard co-founded Parters In Europe (PIE) and secured a contract to supply components to Dell Ireland while there. Richard returned home in 2005 and established Creco Trading. Creco was an early adopter of eCommerce, operating three online stores that sold sporting and healthcare goods. In 2009, the company was sold.
Following a career change, Richard joined Applied Medical, a US medical device manufacturer. Richard was promoted to National Sales Manager three years later, launching the company's global entry into Advanced Energy Devices.
The entrepreneurial bug bit Richard in early 2019, and he left the corporate world to establish Oleo as a supplier to the Medical Cannabis Access Programme.
Oleo, like most startups, faced difficulties. Legislative changes and roadblocks slowed progress and prompted many sleepless nights.
Nearly three years later, in November 2021, Oleo Medical Products was added to the Medical Cannabis Access Programme.
Richard loves nothing more than an weekend road trip with his family and their Rhodesian Ridgeback 'Chili'.
